Accepting these terms

Using Sandrone means you accept what is written here. If you do not, do not use the bot; if you administer a server, remove it.

Which bot these terms cover

These terms apply to the bot with the Discord application ID 1539185764904996974, and to its official links only: discord.com and discord.gg, sandrone.is-a.bot, and sandrone.doughmination.gay.

Anything else calling itself Sandrone is not covered by these terms, is not operated by the owner, and should not be trusted. See Official links for how to verify what you are talking to.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the bot to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone;
• use it to post content that is illegal where you or the server are;
• deliberately spam commands, or automate them to exhaust rate limits;
• use /yt-dlp to fetch content you have no right to redistribute, or treat its hosted links as permanent or private storage; they are public to anyone holding the link and are deleted automatically;
• attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the bot or the host it runs on;
• impersonate the bot, or represent another bot or service as being Sandrone.

Age-restricted content

Some commands return adult content and are flagged as age-restricted. Discord enforces where and by whom those may be used. Running them outside an appropriate channel is a misuse of the bot and of Discord.

Availability

Sandrone is a hobby bot run on personal hardware. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no promised response time. It may go offline, lose features, change behaviour, or be retired entirely, at any time and without notice.

Individual commands may be switched off at short notice — for maintenance, or because something they depend on has broken. No notice is owed for that either.

Suspension of access

The owner may block any user, server, or installation from using the bot, for any reason, without notice or explanation.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Sandrone is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the owner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it, from it being unavailable, or from anything it returns. Some commands relay content from third-party services, and the accuracy of that content is not guaranteed.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-party services

Several commands fetch data from services the owner does not run, listed in the Privacy Policy. Their terms apply to their content.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The effective date above will change with them, and continuing to use the bot after that means accepting the new version.

Licensing

The bot's source code is released under the Doughmination Authorised Source Licence (DASL-1.2). It is source-available, not open source: you may read it and you may fork it to prepare a contribution, but running your own instance, deploying it, redistributing it, or commercialising it requires written authorisation. Development summarises what that means in practice, and the full text governs.

The "Sandrone" name and the Doughmination branding are not licensed with the code.

“Sandrone” is a character from Genshin Impact, used here for a personal fan project. This bot is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HoYoverse or COGNOSPHERE. Genshin Impact and all related names, imagery, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
